Mirka 6" Diameter Soft-Edge Backing Plate - Abranet/Autonet

This particular backing plate is designed for use with Abranet® and Autonet™ discs. It features 52 vacuum holes and is designated as "soft", so it contours to complex or curved shapes quite well.

The face of the plate features a hook material that has been specifically designed for Abranet® and Autonet™ discs, but it works well with virtually any loop-style sanding disc.

Mirka's backing plates are manufactured using a top quality molded polymer construction. This means that the hub, foam center, and face are molded together, not glued.

Each plate is balanced to eliminate vibration, so you can work comfortably.
