These pads cut fast, leave a nice finish, and don't feel like you're steering a land yacht!

The Meguiar's WRWHC7 7" Wool Buffing Pad features 3/4-inch long wool fibers that are attached to a flat backing, so they lay down a rather large footprint compared to wool pads that feature a curved backing. Although curved pads contour well, they can obscure the edges of panels, so it can be hard to judge whether the pad is buffing near the edge of a panel, or on the edge. The feel of these pads is more sportscar-like than land yacht, which is a nice change.

The WRWHC7 features Velcro attachment material, but can be used with old-school rubber backing plates with metal mounting nuts, as the pad has a hole cut into its center for mounting purposes. Designed for use with 6" diameter backing plates.

Not so long ago, outfitting a polishing machine with super-small pads would have very likely delivered a subpar result. Thankfully, technological advances in buffing liquids & pads have made it possible create a dazzling finish utilizing our 1-1/4" (32mm) Spot Buffing Pads.

These 1-1/4" Diameter Buffing Pads are must haves for tight-area polishing tasks. When mounted to compact rotary or random orbital polishing machines, these pads can eliminate much of the difficulty and stress commonly associated with critical, tight-area work. The Meguiar's DA Microfiber Xtra-Cut Discs are the newest addition to the DA Microfiber Correction System. They are similar in design to the original DA Microfiber Cutting Discs, except that the intermediate layer of cushioning foam has been eliminated.  

Consequently, absorption and distortion of the machine's random orbital motion is virtually non-existent. Orbiting-action is therefore more accurately & completely transferred through the disc.  

Speed of cut and leveling ability is greatly enhanced, particulary when utilizing random orbital machines that feature a small stroke (such as a typical palm-style sander). These discs are also available in a 6" version.

Note: There may be instances when the lack of cushioning limits the Xtra-Cut Disc's ability to conform to the panel being polished. If this is the case, a DMC5 DA Microfiber Cutting Disc may be a better choice.

For follow-up polishing: 
Use the Meguiar's DMF5 5" DA Microfiber Finishing Disc. Or, try one of the Meguiar's 5" DA Foam Discs.
