Although these pads INITIALLY feel rigid, they become very pliable as they warm & saturate with buffing liquid.<br/><br/>Blue pads feature a large pore, thick-wall design. The "open cell" structure of the 9.BF40H and 9.BF70H remain clog-free longer than traditional foam cutting pads. However, they may sling or splatter if too much compound is used. To control sling, do not intentionally saturate or use an excess quantity of compound with these pads.
