It is designed for use with all brands of PSA (peel and stick adhesive) sanding rosettes, including Mirka's Polarstar Spot Repair Discs, as well as their Waterproof Sanding Rosettes.<br/><br/>9P06.061 | Rupes 1-1/4" (30mm) LD30 Velcro Backing Plate.<br/><br/>The Rupes 9P06.061 1-1/4" (30mm) Velcro-Face Backing Plate is designed for use with the LD30's Velcro-to-Vinyl Foam Interface Pad. Of course, any type of Velcro-style sanding rosette will affix directly onto this plate.<br/><br/>9P06.062 | Rupes LD30 Interface Pad.<br/><br/>The Rupes LD30 includes a pair of backing plates (one hook faced, the other vinyl faced), and an interface pad that features loops on one side, and vinyl on the other. The Rupes LD30 30mm Air-Powered Orbital Denibber is capable of topping out at 7,500 oscillations per minute, which can really tax its tiny backing plate. Should a backing plate sustain damage due to an inadvertent dropping of the machine or some other unforseen event, you'll be dead in the water unless you've got a replacement on hand. The 9P06.062 is a factory-direct replacement for the interface pad that was originally shipped with the machine.
